EID BALLOONS

WESTFIELD, LONDON, 2023

Inspired by the use of balloons in traditional Eid celebrations, this design comprises of illuminated symbols from across the Islamic world being magically ‘lifted away’ by a canopy of blue balloons. This installation coincided with Westfield’s broader activities for Eid al-Fitr which attracted a record-breaking 350,000 visitors to the shopping centre over a three-day period.
