CARNABY FLAG

Permanently suspended in the heart of the Carnaby Estate is a shimmering, three-dimensional sculpture of The Union Flag. It is a fantastic piece of land art which was inspired in part by the deconstructed Channel 4 logo. It is actually built in layers but reads as one unit from the top of the street!

We are big fans of Ned Kahn, an amazing environmental artist and sculptor, and with him in mind we have used 49000 individual mirror discs in its composition so that even in the slightest of breezes it generates fabulous movement and eye-catching shimmer.
